Prior to the race, we had some excellent food, and we had a lot more once the race was over. Right after the race, we went to
Five Napkin Burger which was good, but actually probably the least excellent meal we had. Then we went up to
Top of the Hub in the Prudential building for a drink and a view of the city. The next day, at the behest of the locals, we skipped the ridiculously long line for
Mike's Pastry and opted for the silly, but shorter line at
Modern Pastry and had fresh filled
cannolis,
torrones, and
biscottis. Later we had Italian in the North End. We also rode the
Duck Tour and walked the
freedom trail from
Boston Common to the
USS Constitution.
