I spent the weekend in San Diego this weekend for the American Medical Association meeting where I helped run the Research Symposium for residents and fellows. In the morning I had time for some lovely runs. 64 degrees and a nice ocean breeze along the Harbor, 88 during midday, but still pleasant. The Harbor is a great place to run if you are in downtown San Diego and there were dozens of other people out there with me. I headed west out from my hotel and quickly got onto the harbor path which goes for miles and has few interruptions at intersections so you can keep up your pace without stopping. Most of the view when at 5 AM was limited to a handful of stars, the USS Midway, and some other industrial/tourist boating but still a great run!
