Shoelaces: Doing it wrong for 30 years
Lifehacker posted this link to a video on Runner's World's website. I hope there is at least one person besides me who didn't know you could end up with two different knots depending on which way you loop your laces. (Presumably I am not the only one since they didn't start the video off by saying, "Ok, Dave...")

Dave et al, may I suggest you also look at the latest thing in shoe laces called Greeper Laces. They are regular laces with a special system that enables you to loosen and tighten them quick and easy but they never come undone. You can see them at greeper.com
