Got a 6.1 miler in today that felt okay to start out, but I'll be damned if I wasn't overheated by the end of the run. The heat itself wasn't that bad, but with the downpour last night, the humidity was literally 100%. So while the temperature was only in the 70's, it was brutal.
The week was been pretty good in general. I have started to beef up total distance by bumping my AM runs from 2 miles to 3 or 4. Weekly total then for July 5-11 was 27.6 miles up from my total two weeks prior of 14.
Feels good to have a little soreness in the quads as well. At this point, I am going to keep this pace/weekly totals stable for the next couple of weeks and then start to get into the Hanson's plan with a few "special modifications"
